The TCCI wishes you a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We would like to thank you for your business and support during 2022 and we look forward to working with you in 2023.

The Diverse Leadership Program (DLP) aims to increase the diversity of the Tasmanian workforce in management and decision-making positions through an immersive leadership program that will provide leadership and management skills to talented Tasmanians from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

The program is an exciting partnership between the Multicultural Council of Tasmania (MCOT) and TasTAFE and proudly funded by Skills Tasmania.

The program has been developed by MCOT and TasTAFE and will be jointly delivered.

TasTAFE is working in collaboration with MCOT in establishing the delivery of this program to ensure it is fit-for-purpose and in alignment with the learning style of the CALD participants.

TasTAFE have designed an accredited leadership program to be delivered based on the existing Certificate IV Business with additional units from the Diploma of Business.

Throughout the delivery of the training, TasTAFE will provide allocated learner support resources pertinent to participant completion of the program.

Training will be delivered over eight months between March - October 2023 through four intensive face-to-face sessions at TasTAFE locations across Tasmania.

In between face-to-face sessions learning will be undertaken by participants using resources provided.

Mentorship, networking and job coaching will be part of the ongoing support provided to participants.

Expressions of interest are now open and close on 31 January 2023.
